Undoubtedly, Final Fantasy VII is one of the unforgettable great role playing game ever. Developed by Square (now Square Enix), it was released in 1997 on Play Station Console, and in 1998, another version was released onto PC, Microsoft version. It was the first RPG developed using 3D technology, and uses 4 CDs to store the data. Main character is Cloud Strife, a SOLDIER, with the final boss, Sephiroth.

Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, an Square Enix product released in 2007, features a story of a SOLDIER, Zack Fair. The story is in fact the prelude of Final Fantasy VII in Sony Play Station, and the ending of FF VII Crisis Core is actually the beginning of FF VII. Zack Fair is indeed Cloud's mentor/teacher,in which Cloud resembles him in many ways such as carrying a big sword, doing squatting as their favorite exercise.

Final Fantasy Tactics is the only strategy role playing game in all FF series. It was first released in 1997 in Japan on Play Station Console, which was then remake 10 years later into PSP version, and called Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. FF Tactics is different from all the FF series as the battle takes place on a map with small grid, and the players and the enemy take turn to attack/defend/cast magic etc.Once the player achieve certain level, the character can develop or refining their skills by changing their jobs.
